Weekend Weddings at the Bella Collina Mansion

Here’s just a brief post about our last two weekend weddings at the Bella Collina Mansion at the end of September.

This has been a year full of textural Brides.  We have had a number of weddings using succulents or the old fashioned “Hens & Bittys” flowers.  When you’re utilizing an event venue like the Bella Collina Mansion in Stokesdale, NC, the natural textural flowers and foliage work perfectly with the mansion’s rustic curves and designs.

Our second wedding of the weekend was Trish & Cody’s.  The bride chose flowers that complimented her rustic organic vineyard vision.  Berries and blue thistle with touches of seeded eucalyptus accent her bouquets of white and royal blue hydrangeas, Escimo roses, and mini calla lilies.

Our last wedding featured Carmen and David and is one I’ll never forget.  Sometimes we have rainy weekends such as this one and we try to make the best of it and often, we have to move everything inside.  It was misting outside and Carmen really wanted her wedding to be outside in front of the gorgeous Belews Lake background.  We caught a break and as a slight mist fell on the Bride & Groom, the rain held off just long enough for Carmen to have her dream fulfilled.

We hope you enjoy the pictures.

A Misty weekend wedding

Flowers used this weekend were purple iris, super purple roses, purple stattice, yellow gerbers, yellow baby spray roses, purple asters with white hydrangea.  Escimo roses and cream gerber daisies.
